Anyone shopping at Lazy Acres of late might have noticed the store has lost its soul — longtime wine manager and witty newsletter writer Bob Wesley has quit. The good news is Wesley will be back, this time running his own place, The Winehound, sometime in January.

EAGLE-VAIL — The second annual Beer, Food and Wine Expedition will be Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eagle-Vail Pavilion. You’ll have a chance to sample food, beer and wine from around the world and participate in a silent auction.
